Bayview Project

We undertook a large scale alteration and second storey addition to this family home nestled amongst the trees in Bayview. The client opted for a contemporary design in a striking monochrome colour palette which looks stunning when positioned against the lush, tropical landscape. The brief was to create an open plan family home that could accommodate our clients love for entertaining with a transterior flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces. This was achieved through the use of commercial grade oversized stacking doors in the living and dining area and a unique gas strutted awning window which acts as a servery out of the kitchen. The use of glass in both the downstairs and upstairs areas allows natural light to filter in to these spaces and maximises the sweeping views across Pittwater.

“We feel very fortunate to have Customconstruction build our home. We were able to collaborate with the team from start to finish and although we had detailed plans, the team were able to interpret these and put forward ideas and options as the build took place. The build ran smoothly from start to finish and the attention to detail and quality of workmanship was outstanding. We really couldn’t be happier with the end result. We would have no hesitation in recommending Customconstruction to future prospective clients.
