Church Point Project
We undertook an extensive alteration to an existing 1960’s, two storey beachcomber property at Church Point. The house’s structural configuration was designed to increase space on the lower level, making it more functional for this family home.
Moving upstairs, the brief was to create an open plan living space, maximising the views across Pittwater and optimise the relationship between the interior and exterior areas. This was a challenging site as the property was built at the top of a steep driveway, on a busy road, which made access difficult.
“Sam was the foreman on the alterations and renovation to our two-storey brick property at Church Point. The project we set out was a challenging one – the plans were predominantly in my head! We lived in the property while the work was undertaken, the site was very steep and on a busy road, and access was difficult and parking limited. Perhaps most challenging of all, our daughter was in her HSC year!
Sam was undaunted by all of this. He managed a highly skilled team of tradesman who completed our project to an exceptional standard. Sam has a great deal of pride in his work, and applied his energy, enthusiasm, honesty and good humour to all aspects of the job. He was undaunted by setbacks and nothing was ever “too hard”.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam for any future project, no matter how challenging. We truly appreciate everything that Sam and the crew achieved for our family, and we enjoy the fruits of their labour every day.”Mark and Anna
